Ok crock pot anon here again bc I'm not done, the way Buck insisted it was okay to serve the food a few minutes early if you could tell it was ready and the way Eddie was freaking out about there still being 11 minutes left on the timerrrrr
Never be done crock pot anon I am always here to flail over buddie cooking together and the crock pot of it all!!
I love that Buck has developed enough as a cook through Bobbys teaching and his own trial and error to know that sometimes you don’t need to fully wait out the instructed time, while Eddie is still not confident enough in the kitchen and wants to stick to the time given religiously! The play on buck getting to his feelings realisation a little earlier than Eddie - because he realises he’s ready - while Eddie needs to wait until the timer goes off before he is - interesting possibility for how it’s going to shake out
And as long as that 11 minutes to wait doesn’t mean 11 episodes until buddie - because if I have to wait until 906 for canon buddie I will cry!!

Ancient Archaeology
The study of the past through examining artifacts goes back far into history, having part of its origin in kings and queens seeking to show how great their nations histories were, and therefore they are. The first archaeological studies that we know of were in Egypt and Mesopotamia.

Prince Khaemweset of Egypt, fourth son of Ramesses II lived from about 1281-1225 BCE and is described as the 'first Egyptologist' for his interest in restoring the ancient even to him pyramids, such as the one of Djoser, which had been constructed in the 27th century BCE, about 1400 years before he lived. It was written of him that 'so greatly did he love antiquity and the noble folk who were aforetime, along with the excellence (of) all that they had made, so well, and repeatedly ("a million times").'

King Nabonidus of Neo-Babylon, who found a foundation deposit of Naram-Sin in about 550 BCE. Naram-Sin ruled around 2200 BCE, nearly 2000 years before Nabonidus. He is called the first archaeologist because he led excavations as well as the restoration efforts of the temples of Šamaš, the sun god, and Anunitu, a warrior goddess. He estimated that the temple was from 3200 years before his time, but this is considered a good guess due to the lack of modern dating technology.

Another arm of archaeology is verifying facts in stories that have been passed down and recording them in histories. Herodotus, the Greek historian, is the first western person to do this systematically and wrote it down in his set of nine books collectively called Histories. He wrote about history as a series of causes and effects rather than the capricious will of the gods. There are some errors within the Histories that suggest Herodotus exaggerated his travels.

While their methods and conclusions might have been flawed, the effort to understand the past, to restore buildings of the past as well as lifestyles, as antiquarians do, was often the domain of the wealthy. In Song dynasty China (906-1279 CE), it became an upper class fashion to collect art, especially art pertaining to the Shang, Zhou, and Han dyansties (from about 1600 BCE-220 CE). They collected artifacts and sought to figure out how they were made.

The [2005] Habeas Corpus Appeal. "Had either Erik or Lyle presented evidence that, at the moment of the killings, they had an actual fear in the need to defend against imminent peril to life or great bodily injury, this evidence would have helped explain why they had that unreasonable fear. Nonetheless, the fears leading up to the murders and the reasons why such fears might have existed simply are not the threshold issue for California's imperfect self-defense instruction."
In this consolidated appeal, Lyle and Erik Menendez appeal the district court's denial of their petitions for habeas corpus.
Link (excerpts below)
C. Imperfect Self-Defense Instruction
California recognizes imperfect self-defense in homicide cases where the killing resulted from an "actual but unreasonable belief in the necessity to defend against imminent peril to life or great bodily injury." CALJIC No. 5.17 (1995); see In re Christian S., 7 Cal.4th 768, 771, 30 Cal.Rptr.2d 33, 872 P.2d 574 (1994) (discussing imperfect self-defense). If imperfect self-defense is established, the defendant can be guilty of no more than manslaughter because the requisite malice necessary for murder is absent. Id. Though a reasonable person need not view the peril as imminent, the defendant must make some showing that he actually believed the peril to be imminent. Id. The fear, no matter how great, cannot be of prospective danger or even one that is in the near future. Id. at 783, 30 Cal.Rptr.2d 33, 872 P.2d 574. Rather, " [a]n imminent peril is one that, from appearances, must be instantly dealt with." Id. (internal quotation marks and citation omitted).
Under California law, a defendant is entitled to a jury instruction only if substantial evidence, or "evidence sufficient to deserve consideration by the jury," supports the giving of that instruction. People v. Barton, 12 Cal.4th 186, 201 n. 8, 47 Cal.Rptr.2d 569, 906 P.2d 531 (1995) (internal quotation marks omitted). The state trial court conducted an extensive hearing to determine whether the imperfect self-defense instruction was warranted, and concluded that, taking Erik's version of the circumstances as true, there was not substantial evidence of a belief that the danger was imminent. Accordingly, the court declined to give the imperfect self-defense instruction.
The California Court of Appeal affirmed, concluding that there was no error in the trial court's decision not to give the instruction because the defense presented insufficient evidence under California law of a belief in imminent peril. Because Erik and Lyle left the house after the confrontation, went to the car, retrieved their shotguns, reloaded their guns with better ammunition, reentered the house, burst through the doors and began shooting their unarmed parents, the court concluded that there was no substantial evidence of a belief in imminent peril. The court placed special emphasis on Erik's testimony that Erik knew the danger to be in the future. Furthermore, the California Court of Appeal concluded that even if the trial court erred in failing to give the instruction, the omission was harmless because the jury necessarily resolved the question posed by the proposed instruction adversely to Petitioners
.
The court's determination that this instruction was not appropriate and the state appellate court's affirmance of that decision resulted from interpretation of state law. Any error in the state court's determination of whether state law allowed for an instruction in this case cannot form the basis for federal habeas relief. Estelle, 502 U.S. at 67-68, 112 S.Ct. 475. The state court carefully applied state law principles and factually similar state cases and determined that no instruction was available to Petitioners because they failed to provide a basis upon which the instruction could be given. Quite simply, that should be the final word on the subject. However, because Petitioners argue that the refusal to instruct violated federal due process, we press forward.
The State argues that this claim is barred by Teague v. Lane, 489 U.S. 288, 109 S.Ct. 1060, 103 L.Ed.2d 334 (1989). We reject this argument and proceed to the merits of the claim, as it is a long-standing principle that instructional error may so infect a trial that the resulting conviction violates due process. Estelle, 502 U.S. at 72, 112 S.Ct. 475.
"Failure to give [a jury] instruction which might be proper as a matter of state law," by itself, does not merit federal habeas relief. Miller v. Stagner, 757 F.2d 988, 993 (9th Cir. 1985). The Supreme Court has stated instead that a claim that a court violated a petitioner's due process rights by omitting an instruction requires a showing that the error "so infected the entire trial that the resulting conviction violate[d] due process." Henderson v. Kibbe, 431 U.S. 145, 154, 97 S.Ct. 1730, 52 L.Ed.2d 203 (1977) (quoting Cupp v. Naughten, 414 U.S. 141, 147, 94 S.Ct. 396, 38 L.Ed.2d 368 (1973)). In addition, a state trial court's finding that the evidence does not support a claim of imperfect self-defense is entitled to a presumption of correctness on federal habeas review. Hartman v. Summers, 120 F.3d 157, 161 (9th Cir. 1997). Because we agree with the state court's finding that Petitioners failed to demonstrate that they believed they were in imminent peril, we conclude that there was no error and thus that Petitioners' due process rights were not violated.
Petitioners contend that the state court failed to consider various categories of evidence that they assert supported their requested imperfect self-defense instruction. Specifically, Petitioners argue that the court ignored evidence that they were threatened with harm if they ever disclosed the abuse, as well as evidence of the confrontations leading up to the murders and Erik's testimony that he feared his parents might kill him. This argument fails because none of the evidence, including evidence of the abuse Petitioners allegedly suffered at the hands of their parents, or even the details concerning the confrontation that occurred the night of the attack before the victims and Petitioners retired to different locations, supported the imperfect self-defense instruction.
Indeed, the defense did present evidence that Jose had repeatedly abused his sons and that Kitty had acquiesced, for most of their lives. Erik testified that Jose had threatened to kill him if he revealed the sexual abuse. According to Erik, there had been several confrontations between Jose, Lyle, and Erik days before the murders. Erik testified at extraordinary length and in incredible detail about his childhood and his relationships with his parents, beginning with his allegations that his father began sexually molesting him at the age of six and following through incident by incident until he was eighteen. Erik testified that in the days leading up to the murders, he had some fear that, at some point, his parents would kill him — a fear that fluctuated in intensity during those final days.
Petitioners' focus on this evidence, however, is misplaced. Taken at face value, this background evidence served only to explain why the brothers might have had an unreasonable fear of their parents at the moment they killed them. At most, the evidence illustrated that Erik and Lyle feared that their parents had the capacity to and might, at some point, harm them. Erik's testimony about his general fear in the days leading up to the murder does not provide any evidence that, at the moment he shotgunned his parents to death, he feared he was in imminent peril.
In fact, evidence that Lyle ever feared his parents is so weak is so weak in the record that his claim could be rejected without discussion.
Even Erik's assertion that he feared his parents would kill him when they exited the room is insufficient to support the instruction. He testified that he "just wanted to get to the den as quickly as possible before my father got out of the den. If my dad got out of the den before I got there, it was over." But Erik admitted that the danger was in the future. He knew that his parents could not kill him through the walls. He knew that "they would not kill me until they exited the den." Taking Erik's testimony as true, these killings were, in effect, preemptive strikes.
Thus, the instruction was not warranted under California law. Had either Erik or Lyle presented evidence that, at the moment of the killings, they had an actual fear in the need to defend against imminent peril to life or great bodily injury, this evidence would have helped explain why they had that unreasonable fear. Nonetheless, the fears leading up to the murders and the reasons why such fears might have existed simply are not the threshold issue for California's imperfect self-defense instruction. In re Christian S., 7 Cal.4th at 783, 30 Cal.Rptr.2d 33, 872 P.2d 574. Consequently, the state court's decision was not error, let alone a violation of due process.
Our decision in DePetris v. Kuykendall, 239 F.3d 1057 (9th Cir. 2001), in which we held that evidence of Battered Women's Syndrome was erroneously excluded, does not affect our conclusion. The state court in that case had already concluded that the evidence was erroneously excluded. Bound by that determination, we concluded, among other things, that the error was not harmless because the defendant had been restricted from testifying fully about her state of mind. Id. at 1063. Here, on the contrary, Erik's testimony was virtually unlimited, but he nevertheless failed to make the requisite showing of fear of imminent peril. In any event, DePetris is inapplicable here, as only Supreme Court decisions can form the basis of federal habeas relief. 28 U.S.C. § 2254(d)(1).
D. Exclusion of Testimony and the Right to Due Process
Lyle and Erik sought to introduce testimony that could explain why they feared their parents. These witnesses were referred to by the trial court as so-called "source witnesses," people who had "observed certain things, either observed the interaction of the defendants with their parents or gave character evidence . . . relating to the parents, . . . things of that nature. . . ."
The trial court ruled, however, that the defendants were required first to lay a foundation, which in this case, could only be accomplished if the defendants testified about their actual belief of imminent danger. Indeed, we, too, see no other competent way in which the foundation could have been laid. Erik took the stand, but Lyle chose not to testify. Petitioners argue that the trial court's ruling violated their rights to due process because it forced them to choose between their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination and their Sixth Amendment right to present a defense. We disagree.
In disallowing this evidence, the trial judge explained:
The relevance of the expert testimony of these experts that we've referred to in the hearing, the relevance of that testimony was to and is to corroborate the testimony of the defendants regarding their mental state at the time of the killing, and to dispel certain misconceptions regarding the conduct of an individual faced with a situation or circumstances as described by the defendants.
The issue, as I looked at it and look at it now, is the state of mind of the defendants at the time of the killing as to whether there was an actual belief of imminent danger of death or great bodily injury and a need to act. Obviously, if that actual belief is not presented to the jury, then the experts have nothing to corroborate. . . .
Since the relevance of the expert testimony is related to the state of mind of the defendants at the time of the killing, the purpose of the experts' testimony that they had — that the defendants fit a certain diagnosis; that they are, whatever the expert says, a battered person — they fit the — or fit the diagnosis of a post-traumatic stress disorder, that is only to corroborate the defendants' testimony as to their mental state at the time of the crime.
. . . . .
It's really irrelevant, and it would be totally irrelevant to any trial, that the defendants had been abused or that they fit a particular diagnosis of being abused. That's totally irrelevant, unless it corroborates their testimony as to their mental state at the time of the crime. If it doesn't do that, then the fact that they happen to be abused or happen to fit a particular diagnosis is irrelevant.
. . . .
And as I look at it, the foundation of the testimony — of the evidence is the defendants' own testimony of that belief [of imminent danger]. . . .
(emphasis added). The California Court of Appeal agreed with the trial court's ruling, concluding that the issue was not whether Petitioners were required to testify, but whether the testimony of the relevant witnesses was admissible despite a lack of foundation.

Into the spider-verse: Xiomara’s intro
Sum: this is my intro to my au fanfic. Puerto Rico’s Araña-Mujer & it takes place on Earth 906. This starts in Xi’s POV‼️
A/n: The other characters come in later. The story really starts after her intro so this of this rlly as an intro/pt.1 ‼️ In this story Xiomara does end up with Miles G. Morales. HOWEVER, this is being posted as a test to see ‘how good’..this fic is. This is basically a ‘rough draft’ I’ve honestly barely edited this. I have read thru it so hopefully I didn’t miss any BIG errors. I just wanna see if others enjoy this or if maybe I get thrown suggestions. If this does good I’ll possibly continue with this fanfic on here :))
Okay let’s get this started , Hi I’m Xiomara Marina Aguillar . Puerto Rico’s one and only Spider girl. I got bitten by a radio active spider on a school field trip to Oscorp Labs for a career day. My spider bite gave me special venom powers through nails that can temporarily paralyze my victim. As well as camouflage effect that allows me to blend into any surroundings, also my body temperature drops leaving me undetectable to heat vision. I’m 15 years old and attend Visions, the center of advanced studies..It’s..It’s really just a highschool, but I like to remind myself of what my papa said to me. “Mija, you earned your place at that school! I’ll be damned to see stuck up children run you away from a proper education!!” Something my father didn’t have growing up. I tested very highly my whole life and always got good grades, school and education came so naturally to me..friends..not so much.
It was my papa’s dream for me to go to this school , so who was my mother to deny a man on his deathbed his dream for his eldest daughter right?…he..hehe. Yeahhh uh…My pa, he’s gone…He passed away when I was 13 from Cancer, but I don't like to remember him as a Cancer patient! I like to remember him for just being my papa. The one cracking jokes, cooking good food and saving lives as a firefighter…
I always wished he never got sick because then I just know..My life wouldn’t be the way it is now..
Months after my papa’s death my mother went downhill even almost lost her nursing license. She picked up drinking and smoking cigarettes heavily, also picking up extreme hours at the hospital to try to keep us afloat. She liked to claim all the hours were for keeping us afloat..a part of me believed that. That she was still the mami who used to give pep talks and smother you in kisses every morning, but really I knew it was also to feed her addiction..Apart of my mom still wanted to be a mother but sometimes couldn't bare to look at us and so I tried really hard to shelter my siblings from this part of her, but as they got older they became coherent to their surroundings . It was hard for us emotionally and financially, we were even still paying off his medical bills and that alone was a struggle to do.. Don’t get me wrong, my parents both made good money. I wouldn’t say we are DIRT poor as of right now, just struggling.. Those bills were just always a harsh reminder to us that he was gone..
We even lived in a beautiful house when he was alive but the hospital bills, caring for us, our wants and needs no matter what, bills..It swallowed them as his hours at work decreased more and more due to his cancer getting worse. Eventually putting him on disability we slowly got back afloat, but when he passed and we no longer got his disability income we lost our home and my mom lost her sanity. My parents worked so hard their whole lives to get us outta the hood for us to end up right back there . As I stated my mami kinda went..loco, She wasn’t herself any more, gave us no attention and became very cold and mean as the alcohol addiction increased so I picked up the care of my younger siblings and our apartment we moved into after the loss of the house. It was just my moms job to give me her paycheck to get it ALL done..Eventually we would argue about the money and costs of her habits so I had to pick up a job to pick up her slack..But that's enough of my life story let’s just get into it…
To be continued..?

Their parting is both heartfelt and heartbreaking. She follows in his footsteps unbeknownst to him. Additionally, their actors are married in real life."

Catchy !? (¿¡Pegadiza!?) - r-906
youtube
Me he convertido en yo misma.

#has anyone worked out how many years it's ACTUALLY been for the doctor?#because it's a hell of a lot more than fifteen
ok ok ok so we just go nu!who ages, NOT counting audios just straight TV canon and not touching Dobby: 10 aged in real time from 9, so 903/904 by Journey's End. Call it 904 'cos at End of Time he gives his age as 906 just before regenerating. Impossible Astronaut 11 gives his Young age as 908, Older age as 1103. Town called Mercy: 1200 Day of the Doctor he says he's lost track and 1200-odd, so we're gonna get a bit nelous because we dont' know how long he was mourning amy and rory. Call it a margin of error of about 10 years give ortake. We'll assume he's aged in real time like 10 did, and split the difference so call it 5 years mourning and 2 for the latter half of S33/S34/specials. 1208. By the end of 11's reign, he'd been on Trenzalore for 900 years. 2108. We know we're ballparked 'cos 12 says in deep breath he's over 2k years old. Skipping the time in stasis in before the flood, because time didn't pass for him, so call it 2110 by Heaven Sent. Now. This is where it gets messy. Because arguably he didn't age in the confession dial, BUT that time did pass for him in a very real sense mentally. But it also reset. But he also recalls all of it. But he's also still very clearly still experiencing Clara's death as a fresh event. So you can call his age 4,500,002,110 or 2110. After that you have Husbands of River Song, 24 years on Darillium. 4,500,002,134 / 2134 At some point 12 takes on the obligation of guarding Missy, and he's been at the uni for 50 years (some say 70, let's stick with the confirmed number) by Smile. 4,500,002,184/ 2184. Presumably Nardole's rebuilding occurred during Darillium as River sicced him on the Doctor, and he most likely went from there straight to Missy so we don't necessarily have to add any intervening years here.
Ageing in real time again: 1 for s10. 4,500,002,185/ 2185 Thirteen has completely lost count, so we go in real time and add a couple for S38/39, In Revolution she's spent " a rough few decades" so call it 30 to ballpark. 4,500,002,217/ 2217. Call it another couple of years for before / covering Flux and we get 4,500,002,219/ 2219. so 1315 years have passed for the Doctor over Donna's 15 (or 4,500,001,315 if you count Heaven Sent.)

Rent Telehandler
Unlocking Efficiency: The Versatility of Renting a Telehandler
In the dynamic landscape of construction and industrial projects, the need for specialized equipment is paramount. One such versatile and indispensable piece of machinery is the telehandler. As the demand for flexibility and efficiency grows, many businesses are turning to the option of renting telehandlers. This article explores the multifaceted applications of telehandlers, the advantages of renting over ownership, and the reasons behind the increasing popularity of this rental trend.
Understanding Telehandlers:
Telehandlers, also known as telescopic handlers or boom lifts, are material handling machines that combine the functionalities of a forklift and a crane. Equipped with a telescopic boom, these machines can extend upwards and forwards, offering an impressive range of motion and height. Telehandlers typically have a variety of attachments such as forks, buckets, or grapples, making them suitable for an array of tasks.
1. Versatility in Applications:
Telehandlers are employed in a wide range of industries and applications. In construction, they prove invaluable for lifting and placing heavy materials at elevated heights. Their telescopic capability allows for enhanced reach, making them ideal for tasks such as roof truss installation or placing building materials on upper floors. Additionally, in agriculture, telehandlers are used for tasks like stacking hay bales or loading and unloading materials.
2. Ease of Operation:
Despite their advanced capabilities, telehandlers are designed with user-friendly controls, ensuring ease of operation. Operators can quickly adapt to the machine's functions, making it an accessible option for various skill levels. This simplicity contributes to increased efficiency on job sites, reducing the time required for training and minimizing the risk of errors.
3. Safety Features:
Modern telehandlers come equipped with advanced safety features, enhancing both operator and job site safety. Features such as stability sensors, overload protection, and 360-degree visibility contribute to accident prevention, fostering a secure working environment. This makes renting a telehandler not just a convenient option but also a responsible choice concerning safety standards.
The Advantages of Renting a Telehandler:
1. Cost Efficiency:
Opting to rent a telehandler as opposed to purchasing one outright can result in significant cost savings. The initial investment for buying a telehandler is substantial, and maintenance costs can add up over time. Renting allows businesses to allocate resources more efficiently, paying only for the equipment when it's needed. This cost-effective approach is particularly beneficial for smaller businesses or projects with fluctuating demands.
2. Access to the Latest Technology:
The construction and industrial machinery sector is continually evolving, with new and improved models being introduced regularly. Renting a telehandler provides access to the latest technology and advancements without the burden of ownership. This ensures that businesses can benefit from the most efficient and up-to-date equipment, contributing to enhanced productivity and project quality.
3. Flexible Duration and Usage:
Renting a telehandler offers unparalleled flexibility in terms of duration and usage. Businesses can rent the equipment for specific projects, seasons, or even on a daily basis, tailoring the rental period to their exact needs. This adaptability is particularly advantageous for industries with fluctuating workloads, allowing them to scale up or down as required without the constraints of owning equipment.
4. Maintenance and Repairs:
Owning heavy machinery comes with the responsibility of maintenance and repairs. Renting a telehandler shifts this burden to the rental company. Routine maintenance, unexpected repairs, and the associated costs are the responsibility of the rental provider, freeing businesses from the hassle of managing a fleet of equipment. This not only saves money but also ensures that the telehandler is consistently in optimal working condition.
5. Storage and Transportation:
Another logistical challenge associated with owning equipment is the need for storage and transportation. Telehandlers, with their considerable size, can pose challenges in terms of space requirements. Renting eliminates the need for dedicated storage facilities and the logistics of transporting the equipment to and from job sites, simplifying the overall operational process.
Rising Popularity of Renting Telehandlers:
1. Adaptability to Project Needs:
The diverse nature of construction and industrial projects often requires different types of machinery. Renting a telehandler allows businesses to adapt to the specific needs of each project without the financial commitment of ownership. Whether it's a short-term project requiring a compact telehandler or a long-term venture with a need for heavy-duty equipment, renting provides the necessary flexibility.
2. Economic Uncertainty:
In an era of economic uncertainty, businesses are becoming increasingly cautious about large capital expenditures. Renting a telehandler aligns with a more conservative financial approach, allowing businesses to allocate resources more strategically. This cautious mindset is particularly prevalent among smaller enterprises or those operating in industries sensitive to economic fluctuations.
3. Environmental Considerations:
The push for sustainability and environmental consciousness is influencing decision-making across industries. Renting telehandlers aligns with this trend by reducing the overall carbon footprint associated with manufacturing, maintaining, and eventually disposing of equipment. By opting for rental solutions, businesses contribute to a more sustainable approach to resource utilization.
4. Rapid Technological Advancements:
The rapid pace of technological advancements in the construction industry makes the option to rent telehandlers more attractive. Renters can easily upgrade to the latest models, benefiting from improved efficiency, safety features, and performance without the need to invest in new equipment regularly. This aligns with the industry's push for innovation and efficiency. In conclusion, the decision to rent a telehandler is a strategic one, driven by the need for versatility, cost efficiency, and adaptability in the face of a rapidly evolving industry. The multifaceted applications of telehandlers, coupled with the advantages of renting over ownership, make this machinery an indispensable asset for construction, agriculture, and various industrial sectors. As businesses strive for efficiency and sustainability, the trend of renting telehandlers is likely to continue its upward trajectory, offering a practical solution to the ever-changing demands of modern projects.

The user spent substantially more on the NFT than its usual price. Tornado Cash remains a sanctioned crypto mixer in the U.S. due to it being linked to money laundering. A recent sale of a Non-fungible Token [NFT] on the OpenSea platform has raised eyebrows due to concerns over money laundering. A user recently purchased a CrypToadz NFT for $1.6 million in 1,055 Wrapped Ethereum [wETH] on OpenSea. The user also paid the NFT trading platform a fee of $42,000 in wETH. Note that the user spent substantially more for the NFT than what it is priced at. On OpenSea, a CrypToadz NFT trades for $835-$950. The sale of such a high value has created a lot of buzz online, given that the demand for NFTs has drastically dropped due to lowered prices. Many users on crypto X (formerly Twitter) speculated that it could be a case of a “fat finger” error, in that the user might have accidentally paid much more than intended. 👀👀👀 Cryptoadz #4030 just sold to a fat finger bid of 1055weth 🤯 New owner placed multiple 1.055weth bids on Cryptoadz except one for 1,055weth 😬 Seller accepted the bid within 3 minutes making $1.6 million Opensea made $40k on the 2.5% transaction fee pic.twitter.com/agHLqTIJBE — 906.eth | slay.eth (@the6oy6lue) October 9, 2023 However, a Twitter user revealed that the purchasing wallet was funded by a wallet that has been withdrawing funds from Tornado Cash. Tornado Cash — a sanctioned crypto mixer Tornado Cash is an automated service that allows users to hide the flow of crypto funds to and from wallets by pooling funds from multiple users. This disrupts the public, on-chain movement of crypto funds between wallets, making it more difficult to track fund transfers. In August 2022, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned Tornado Cash. The enforcement prohibited U.S. residents from engaging with the crypto mixer. The U.S. Treasury Department stated at the time that the mixer provided a platform for, “Proceeds of cybercrimes, including those committed against victims in the United States.” In October 2022, the non-profit Coin Center in Washington, DC, sued the Treasury over the measure. Tornado Cash, according to the plaintiffs, preserves their right to privacy. A group of Coinbase [COIN]-backed plaintiffs also sued the Treasury in May 2023. According to the plaintiffs, the U.S. sanction on Tornado Cash is an infringement on free speech and a violation of the First Amendment. Privacy proponents have consistently said that Tornado Cash allows them to transact cryptocurrency without any fear of surveillance.

First Kiss - Elvis
Summary: Your best friend, Elvis, was walking you home from having dinner at his house. When he gets you home, he realises your parents are out of town, and offers to stay so you’re not alone.
Pairing: Elvis x fem!reader
Word count: 906
Warnings: none/fluff. Probably typos/spelling errors/bad grammar that I’ve missed
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
You and Elvis are close friends, you have known each other since middle school. You liked Elvis a lot, and he liked you even more, but he was your best friend. And through years of him and you constantly hanging around each others houses, your parents and his practically also were best friends. There was too much on the line for either of you to confess your feelings.
You and Elvis lived only three streets away from each other, you had come round to his family’s house for dinner, and he was walking you home afterwards, chatting about anything and everything that came to mind. The pair of you passed two of the boys who you went to school with, sitting on one of them’s car which was parked on the street.
“Fairy here sew that dress for ya, darling? Or is he lucky enough to take it off ya?” One of them called out to you, insulting Elvis through his friend’s wolf whistle. Elvis grabbed your hand, holding it to his chest. He had a very protective nature, over his family and you, especially you.
“You know, Charlie, maybe you’d be able to get a girl into that car if you didn’t holler at them like dogs.” Elvis shouted back as he walked you passed them.
“Why do they always gotta pick on me? I’ve never spoken to them.” You asked, once you were sure they were out of ear shot.
“They pick on ya, honey, cos they want ya to speak to them.” Elvis replied, letting go of your hand.
“What?”
“You know, you’re a pretty girl. They want your attention.”
“That’s no way to get a ladies attention!” You argued.
“I know that, honey, but not every guy does.” He continued, walking you to your front door. You just sighed.
“Ain’t your parents home?” He asked.
“No, papa had to go out of town for work and mama went with him. It’s just me for a few days.” You explained, unlocking your door.
“Should’ve told me, mama would rather you stay at ours than alone, y’know. You gonna be alright by yourself?” He asked.
“Well, I’m sure I’ll be okay.” You sighed, taking a step inside and flicking on the light.
“Goodnight, Elvis, thank your parents again for dinner for me.” You kissed him on the cheek and pulled him into a hug. This hug in particular lasted a lot longer than normal, you were holding him for as long as you could in hopes he’d realise that was your way of asking him to stay the night with you.
“I’m parkin’ here tonight aren’t I?” He asked, chuckling slightly.
“Well, if you insist.” You smiled, bringing him inside and locking the front door.
“Can I call mama, let her know your folks ain’t home?”
“‘Course.” You replied, Elvis heading to use your telephone, while you headed upstairs to get changed into something more comfortable for sleeping in.
“Mama said you should’ve told her, she’d don’t want you to feel like you can’t ask a favour.” Elvis spoke, walking into your bedroom.
“Oh I know, I just- I thought I’d be fine.”
“She told me to give you this, for her.” Elvis smiled, giving you a kiss on the cheek.
“Give her one back for me, okay?” You smiled.
“I will. Got a pillow you can spare?” Elvis asked.
“I- yeah, why? How many you need?” You asked, puzzled.
“Uh, one.” Elvis chuckled, confused at your question.
“You already got two.”
“What are you talking about?”
“What are you talking about?” Your eyebrows furrowed, confused.
“Honey, is there a pillow I can take to sleep on the couch?”
“What’s wrong with the two you have in my bed?” You asked, surprised.
“Oh, I just thought I’d take the couch.”
“If you want, I won’t force ya, but I don’t bite.” You smiled at him.
“I don’t know…them teeth look real sharp.” He grabbed your jaw, gently squishing your face. You nipped at his finger, playfully.
“Hey, watch it!” One of his hands grabbed your wrist to pull you towards him, the other pointing at you to tell you off, as he scrunched his face.
“Or what?” You smiled.
“You testing me?” Elvis inched his face closer to yours, his eyes locked on yours.
Your voice changed to a whisper “Maybe I am.” You replied.
Without saying a word, Elvis closed the remaining distance between you, his lips gently brushing against yours. It was a tender and innocent kiss, yet strong, filled with years of unspoken feelings.
You melted into the moment, your hand instinctively finding its way to the back of Elvis's neck, pulling him closer as he deepened the kiss. Eventually, you reluctantly pulled away, your breaths mingling in the quiet room. You stared into each other's eyes, a mixture of surprise, joy, and apprehension reflected in your gazes.
“I— I’ve w— wanted to do that for so long.” He admitted. You smiled at his stutter, the one that he develops whenever he’s really or nervous or excited.
“So have I.” Your lips moved, but no sound escaped them, your eyes dropping to the floor.
A smirk curled over his lips. “You go get your little night gown on, I’ll go lock up and meet you up here.” He gently pushed you by your lower back, towards your closet.
You complied eagerly, excited to see what may be unfolding between the two of you.

Antis DNI - Block the tag "comship" if this causes discomfort.
Remember, you are voting for the ship you prefer, not the ship you find more problematic
Propaganda for both ships under the cut.
Disclaimer: All propaganda is follower-submitted and we do not always have time to fact-check this propaganda. There may be errors. As well as this, Comship does not have to be Darkship, so large age gaps between adults, pseudo-incest, indirect incest, humanoid alien x human, etc. will be counted as acceptable for this bracket
10 x Jenny Propaganda (Age Gap - Jenny is a fastly-aged newborn and The Doctor is 906, Incest - Jenny is 10's Genetic Daughter via cloning)
"They have great chemistry. The Doctor feels an instant bond to his clone daughter that at first he is repulsed by, but he quickly comes around by the end of the episode. Their parting is both heartfelt and heartbreaking. She follows in his footsteps unbeknownst to him."
Trevor x Sam Propaganda (Technically Necrophilia - Sam is living and Trevor's a ghost, Unrequited, Sam is monogamously married, Trevor is creepy to her at first)
"The yearning ghost x living human troupe is so real and makes me feel so feral. It has great yandere potential. Trevor also has been able to interact a lot with the living world; even managing to keep a job as a ghost. It makes one wonder what else he could accomplish 👀 Trevor canonically also has an unrequited crush on Sam at one point."

✨Your Lingerie vs The Bad Batch✨
Authors note: These may or may not have inspired some fic wips send help
🔴Echo is a simple man. He loves the classics; Delicate lace and soft edges, not too aggressive but not too demure. But he'll also be onboard with whatever you like the most, as your confidence is just as much of a turn-on as the outfit itself. But if he ever had to think of something that would really get his engine going...
While Echo may have traded out of his reg armor when he decided to join Clone Force 99-changing into black and red paint to fit them-he'll still always have a weakness for you wearing something colored in that ever distinctive 501st blue.
⚫️Tech loves elegance. He is as clean cut as he can reasonably get given circumstances, and has a guilty desire for seeing you in the same. When he thinks of lingerie he instantly thinks of slips and corsets; Things an heiress or princess would wear. They make you feel expensive, like you should be walking down a palace hall with a robe worth double it's weight in credits.
If you ever chose wear something like that? Blue screen. Full kernel error. 404 'Tech.exe' not found. His hands will gently lay against your thighs and feel both your skin and the fabric underneath his palms, face beat red while you however, feel incredibly pleased.
🔴Hunter secretly loves letting you have the lead every now and again, and he's able to melt under your touch. But Hunter has never actually said it out loud, even if you already knew.
One day you decided to really capitalize it, having invited him to your home while he was on shore leave. You'd kissed him and before long, decided to tell him you needed to change really quick. Hunter found it a little odd, but watched as you ran off like you were about to open Life Day presents, swiping something from your closet on the way.
You returned a few minutes later dolled up in with jet black, full garter belt and stockings. Hunter's throat choked up so that he grew almost silent, to the point that you worried you didn't look as good as you felt. That turned out to not be the case, and Hunter enjoyed playing that night what he felt was maybe a little too much.
You still have that same set packed away in a safe spot, breaking it out every now and again when Hunter gives you that look.
⚫️Wrecker You had tried the whole 'fancy lingerie' thing before, as a surprise when Wrecker had a rare bit of shore leave after deployment. And while it certainly didn't go badly, not a set of even the most expensive lingerie could beat the way his chest tightens at the sight of you wearing his own clothes.
Having once decided to steal one of his black undershirts, the sleeves went down past your hands and the bottom went to your thighs, meant for someone far larger than you. When he'd caught you in the process of stealing it, you had jokingly asked how it looked; fingers grasping the bottom hem and spanning the fabric out on either side. Wrecker figured words weren't going to work when he spit out 'you good look yeah' which make you bust out laughing, then he busted out laughing in response to you; Before he just decided to pick you up and move you to a more desirable locale.
🔴Crosshair more so wants the outfit to fit the scenario. Wearing some soft lace and ruffles? Best become pliant and behaved under his hands. Pulling on a more demure type of slip, that you'd almost be scared to touch with rough hands ? Crosshair can corrupt you, while watching fabric worth far more than its weight in credits softly rub against your thighs. Jet black or fire red bras and garter belts with tight, harsh seams? Not many can break a clone like him, but he'd love to see you try.
Crosshair will always be a brat, but it's a matter of which type of brat you're getting. Lingerie helps set the mood, though he won't admit he also likes the rare feeling of softness against his skin.
